In-building wireless for every major carrier
Concrete, steel, low-E glass and underground levels block cell signals. TCOMM designs, builds and manages distributed antenna systems and small cell networks that deliver strong indoor coverage and capacity for buildings, campuses and venues across the United States.
A distributed antenna system (DAS) is a network of antennas spread throughout a building or campus, fed by carrier signal sources and connected by fiber or coaxial cable. Instead of relying on an outdoor tower to push signal through walls, a DAS delivers carrier coverage right where people are: in offices, units, corridors, stairwells, parking levels and concourses.
Large, high-traffic properties such as hospitals, stadiums, airports and office towers usually need a multi-carrier DAS for capacity. Smaller buildings, outdoor areas and targeted coverage gaps can often be served with small cells. TCOMM assesses your property and recommends the right mix based on coverage, capacity, carrier needs and budget.
Office and commercial buildings, apartments and condos, hospitals and medical centers, hotels and resorts, universities and campuses, stadiums, arenas and entertainment venues, airports, warehouses and industrial facilities, government buildings, and new construction.
You can own the system outright, have a system you own managed for you, or choose DAS as a Service, with no upfront capital and a predictable fee.
A multi-carrier DAS can carry signal for the major carriers. Each carrier must approve and connect to the system, and TCOMM coordinates that process.
No. Boosters amplify weak outdoor signal for small spaces. A DAS is engineered for large buildings and heavy use and can be fed directly by carrier equipment for real capacity.
Yes. Retrofits are common. New construction is the easiest time, so planning a DAS during design saves cost and disruption.
Public safety coverage is usually a separate, code-required system, but TCOMM can design and deliver both together. See public safety DAS.
